When you install the vPOS software with Microsoft Commerce Server 2.0, you will be asked what the user's group REALM is. REALM refers to your Windows NT Server domain, so you have to choose an account from your domain.

Also, verify that you have met the following requirements for vPOS evaluation software:

    - The computer running Windows NT Server is not a primary or backup
domain controller (a PDC or BDC).

    - The server exists on a network that has a PDC.

    - The account used to install vPOS is a domain account.

    - This domain account user is a member of the local Windows NT Server
      administrators group.
