SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Excel, when you copy text directly from your worksheet and paste it into the Find What box in the Find dialog box (from the Formula menu, choose Find), the pasted information will contain a trailing space.

WORKAROUND

To work around this situation, copy the text from the formula bar and then paste the text into the Find What box.
