XL5: Print Dialog Box Does Not Update Number of CopiesLast reviewed: September 12, 1996Article ID: Q109066 |
The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARYIn Microsoft Excel, when you specify a number of copies to be printed in the Printer Setup dialog box, this number is not updated in the Print dialog box (from the File menu, choose Print). However, the number of copies you specify in the Printer Setup dialog box in Microsoft Excel IS passed to the Printers Setup dialog box in Windows Control Panel and will be applied to any new workbooks you create in Microsoft Excel. This setting will also be used by other Windows applications. When you choose the Options button in the Page Setup dialog box (choose Page Setup from the File menu), the changes you make will affect only the current worksheet. Although this dialog box resembles the Windows Printer Setup dialog box, it will affect only the current document (while the Printer Setup dialog box will affect all documents, regardless of the application).
