The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Excel for Windows, version 5.0

In Microsoft Excel version 5.0, the list of fonts on the Module Format tab in the Options dialog box may not display the entire list of available fonts.

If you choose Options from the Tools menu and then select the Module Format tab, you will notice that the list of fonts contains only a subset of the available fonts. This list of fonts contains a subset because module code can only be formatted in a fixed-pitch font (such as the Courier, Fixedsys, or Terminal).

This is by design of Microsoft Excel version 5.0.
