SUMMARYIf you route a document from Microsoft Excel for Windows version 5.0 by choosing the Add Routing Slip command on the File menu, you may receive an error message if you choose the Exit And Sign Out command in Microsoft Mail before you close Microsoft Excel. NOTE: Only the Exit And Sign Out command produces the error message. You can choose the Exit command in Microsoft Mail without receiving an error message.
MORE INFORMATIONThis error message occurs because, when you route a document, Microsoft Excel links to the dynamic link libraries (DLLs) used by Microsoft Mail to send and receive messages. Microsoft Excel retains the link to the MS Mail DLLs until you do either of the following:
