SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel, if you save a file that contains graphs to the Lotus .WK3 (1-2-3) file format, the graphs are gone when you reopen the file. NOTE: This problem also occurs if you save the file to the WK3,FM3 (1-2-3) file format.
WORKAROUNDIn Microsoft Excel, to save a Lotus 1-2-3 file that contains graphs without losing the graphs, do either of the following:
