WORKAROUNDS
MORE INFORMATIONSome video drivers designed for Microsoft Windows, particularly video drivers that display 256 or more colors, use a process called "color correction" to determine which colors to use on the screen. This process may cause colors to be displayed incorrectly in custom toolbar buttons. This error is usually very subtle: for example, a dark red color may change to a lighter red color. Common color changes that are caused by a video driver using color correction include the following:
Old Color Color Changes To ------------------------------------ Dark Red Light Red Dark Green Light Green Really Dark Blue Dark Blue Dark Magenta Light Magenta Light Blue Really Light BlueNote that while these are typical changes, different video drivers may affect colors differently.
