XL5: Offset Function in an Array Does Not Calculate Correctly

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Excel version 5.0, when you use the Offset function in an array formula, you may not receive the results you expect: the same value may be returned to all cells in the array.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Excel for Windows version 5.0c.
