MXL5: Toolbar Truncated Using Radius Precision Pivot MonitorLast reviewed: February 2, 1998Article ID: Q123973 |
The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel 5.0, the right edge of a horizontal toolbar is hidden when you use the Radius Precision Pivot monitor and you view the document in portrait orientation.
CAUSEThis problem occurs if you are using version 3.1.1 or 3.2 of the Precision Pivot driver. The Radius 3.1.1 and 3.2 Precision Pivot drivers were written to work with the Apple Power Macintosh computer. However, when you use these drivers, and the Precision Pivot monitor is positioned in portrait orientation, the right edge of your screen may be truncated such that the right edge of a horizontal toolbar, or an entire vertical toolbar, is not visible in Microsoft Excel 5.0. This problem does not occur with earlier versions of the Radius video driver. This problem also does not occur when the monitor is positioned in landscape orientation.
STATUSWe are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATIONThe Radius Precision Pivot monitor and its drivers are manufactured by Radius, a vendor independent of Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding these products' performance or reliability.
