XL5: Using Large Buttons Changes Page Setup Buttons

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Excel, if you use the Large Buttons option to increase the size of the toolbar buttons, the buttons in the custom header or custom footer box (from the File menu, choose Page Setup, and select the Header/Footer tab) will be distorted. The buttons still function properly, but the tool faces are unrecognizable.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

To turn on the Large Buttons Option, do the following:

1. From the View menu, choose Toolbars.

2. Select the Large Buttons check box, and choose OK.
