SYMPTOMSIn the Microsoft Excel versions listed at the beginning of this article, if you make a copy of a dialog sheet when the following conditions are true
WORKAROUNDIf you want to create a copy of a dialog sheet and you don't want it to contain row and column headers, make sure that the first window of the workbook is the active window when you copy the dialog sheet. If you have already copied a dialog sheet and it contains row and column headers, there is no way to remove the row and column headers except by deleting the dialog sheet.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
MORE INFORMATIONIf you create a copy of a dialog sheet and it contains row and column headers because the conditions above are true, there is no way to remove the row and column headers from the new dialog sheet. When a dialog sheet is active, the "Row & Column Headers" option on the View tab in the Options dialog box is unavailable. Note that the presence of the headers does not affect the functionality of the dialog sheet.
