SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel, when you create a chart using the ChartWizard, the following symptoms may occur:
CAUSEThis behavior may occur if you are using the Diamond Stealth VRAM HiColor video card. This behavior has been reported to occur if you are using the S3 Inc. 911/924 video driver with the 640x480xTrue Color (16-bit) setting. The problem does not occur using the 640x480x256 setting.
RESOLUTIONTo avoid these redraw problems in Microsoft Excel, you can adjust the way that Windows uses your graphics hardware by doing the following:
