SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel, when you use the AutoCalculate feature to view the sum of a list of time values, you may see that the sum of the times is shown on a 24-hour clock instead of being shown as a total sum of the times. For example, when you sum three values of 9:00:00 AM, AutoCalculate may show 3:00:00 instead of 27:00:00.
CAUSEThis behavior occurs when the first cell you have selected is formatted to show the 24-hour-clock time format.
