The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you use Microsoft Excel, the energy saving feature of monitors may not work. When the low-power standby mode is invoked, the monitor will go blank, and then the monitor will come back on immediately. The monitor will no longer be in low-power standby mode.
CAUSEThis behavior occurs when all of the following conditions are true:
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, run a screen saver program. To run a screen saver program, use the following steps:
