The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Excel for Windows 95, version 7.0
  • Microsoft Access, version 7.0

SUMMARY

The Access Links feature installed with Microsoft Excel for Windows 95, version 7.0, requires that Microsoft Access for Windows 95, version 7.0 be installed on your computer.

MORE INFORMATION

The Access Links feature of Microsoft Excel version 7.0 allows you to create a Microsoft Access form or report using your spreadsheet data. The feature also allows you to convert your spreadsheet into an Microsoft Access table.

The ACCLINK.XLA file is installed with Microsoft Excel 7.0, making the Access Links command available on the Data menu. However, the files needed to build the form or report or to convert the spreadsheet into a table, are installed only with Microsoft Access version 7.0. These files are not installed with Microsoft Excel version 7.0. Because these files are only installed with Microsoft Access version 7.0, there is no workaround available to use previous versions of Microsoft Access.

For more information about using Microsoft Access links in Microsoft Excel, click the Index tab in Microsoft Excel Help, type the following text
