XL: Salmon Colored Lines Not Printed

SYMPTOMS

In the versions of Microsoft Excel listed at the beginning of this article, when you try to print a line chart that contains a line formatted with the color salmon (coral), the line is displayed in white and is not displayed on the printout.

CAUSE

This is a limitation of the dithering capabilities of Unidrv.dll.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Unidrv.dll, version 4.00.950 for Windows 95. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

This problem occurs on any color printer using the Unidrv.dll, version 4.00.950 that ships with Microsoft Windows 95.
