XL7: Business Planner Template Shows Strange Cell Redraw

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Business Planner template in Microsoft Excel 7.0, you may notice that when the screen is redrawn, the borders vary in thickness (even though they are all formatted the same). In addition, the thickness of the borders may change unexpectedly.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, scroll down far enough to obscure the cells that have an off-sheet precedent, or switch to another program and switch back to Microsoft Excel.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
