The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you save a worksheet in which you transpose a range of cells that contain one or more aggregate functions, Microsoft Excel for Windows 95 may hang (stop responding).
CAUSEThis problem occurs when all of the following conditions are true:
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, use absolute references when you specify the range of cells in the function, for example:
=SUM($A$1:$E$1) MORE INFORMATIONThis problem may occur when you use the following functions:
AVERAGE() MEDIAN() AVEDEV() MIN() COUNT() PRODUCT() DEVSQ() STDEV() GCD() STDEVP() GEOMEAN() SUM() HARMEAN() SUMSQ() LCM() VAR() MAX() VARP() STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Excel for Windows 95, version 7.0a. A patch is also available that corrects this problem.
