XL7: Background Picture Bleeds Through Cell Pattern

SYMPTOMS

When you are using the sheet background feature of Microsoft Excel 7.0, patterns applied to cells may disappear.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when the cells contain a formula that is recalculated. Note that the patterns are printed correctly.

RESOLUTION

To get the cell pattern to be redrawn correctly, repaginate the worksheet by scrolling up or down through the text of your document; to do this, press Page Up or Page Down or click the scroll bars.
