SYMPTOMS
Problem 1After you export data from Microsoft Access version 2.0 to a Microsoft Excel version 5.0 workbook by using the TransferSpreadsheet macro command or the Export command on the File menu, you may receive the following error message
Cannot do that command on nonadjacent cellswhile working in Microsoft Excel 5.0 or 7.0. This will only happen if you have exported data from Microsoft Access 2.0 to the same Microsoft Excel 5.0 workbook more than once. You will receive the error message if you try to manipulate the workbook in the following ways:
Problem 2In Microsoft Excel 5.0, you may also receive the following error message
not enough memoryif you attempt to delete extra sheets in the workbook one at a time. This will only happen if you exported the data from Microsoft Access 2.0 to an existing Microsoft Excel 5.0 workbook that contained worksheets not exported from Microsoft Access. However, if you group the extra sheets together, you will then be able to delete them.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, follow these steps:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access version 2.0. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Access for Windows 95 version 7.0.
