OFF95: Binder Prints Extra Blank Page Under NT 3.51

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Office for Windows 95, versions 7.0, 7.0a
  • Microsoft Windows NT, version 3.51

SYMPTOMS

When you print a Binder, an extra blank page may be printed with your binder document.

CAUSE

This problem may happen if both of the following are true:

  • The operating system is Microsoft Windows NT, version 3.51

    -and-

  • You are printing to a Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet printer.

WORKAROUND

Because the problem is related to in the printer drivers for Microsoft Windows NT version 3.51, you may be able to avoid the problem by switching to another printer driver.

NOTE: This problem does not happen when you print a binder under the Windows 95 operating system.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
