SYMPTOMSWhen you insert a worksheet in Microsoft Excel 97, the name of the worksheet may be different from the name you expected. For example, instead of sheet names that appear as follows
Sheet4 Sheet5 Sheet6sheet names may appear as follows:
Sheet1 (2) Sheet1 (3) Sheet1 (4) CAUSEThis problem occurs when you use a custom worksheet template (Sheet.xlt) in the Xlstart folder.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, manually rename the worksheets. To rename a worksheet, do the following:
