SBFM97: Payments Per Year Input Box Only Allows One Digit

SYMPTOMS

In the Microsoft Small Business Financial Manager 97, you cannot enter more than one digit into the Payments Per Year box in any dialog box.

WORKAROUND

To enter more than one digit into the Payments Per Year input box, do the following:

  1. Enter the first digit.

  2. Press END and then type the second number.

For example, to enter the number 12 (for 12 payments per year), enter 1, press END (or click after the 1), and then type the number 2.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in the updated versions of the Quickbooks driver and Msapp.dll, which are available on the Microsoft Web site.
