XL: Not All Arguments Are Auto-Capitalized in Visual BasicLast reviewed: January 9, 1998Article ID: Q170229 |
The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you type arguments into a Visual Basic for Applications macro, some of the arguments may not be capitalized automatically.
CAUSEVisual Basic for Applications automatically capitalizes an argument that is recognized as an object, method, property, or type library name. For example, "Name" can be an argument and a property, so the "N" is capitalized. However, "savechanges" is an argument only, so the "s" and the "c" are not capitalized.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
