SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel 97, when you open a workbook that contains a picture object, the picture object may be slightly larger in size than in earlier version of Microsoft Excel.
CAUSEThis behavior occurs when you do the following:
NOTE: When you insert a picture, Microsoft Excel automatically places a border around it.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this behavior, use one of the following methods.
Method 1: Remove the Border in Microsoft Excel 97To remove the border, follow these steps:
Method 2: Resize the Picture in Microsoft Excel 97To resize the picture, follow these steps:
