The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you set the default file location (the working directory), the path may become truncated; consequently, the default file location is set to the folder that is one level above the folder you specified.
CAUSEThis problem may occur when the following conditions are true:
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, use only one colon at the end of the path when you set the default file location.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
