SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, you may have difficulty using the keyboard to select a chart type under Chart Sub-Type in the Chart Wizard dialog box. If you click the Chart Sub-Type section in the dialog box and press any of the arrow keys, the chart type is changed. NOTE: This problem does not occur in Microsoft Excel 97 for Windows.
WORKAROUNDTo select a chart sub-type using the keyboard, press COMMAND+<number>, where <number> is a number from one through nine (1-9) that corresponds to the following grid:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9Each number corresponds to a chart sub-type; for example, if you press COMMAND+1 when the Chart Type is Column, the chart sub-type is changed to Clustered Column. If you select an invalid chart sub-type, nothing happens. Note that you can also use the mouse to select a chart sub-type.
STATUSThis behavior is by design of Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.
