SYMPTOMSIn the versions of Microsoft Excel listed at the beginning of this article, if you apply double borders around a cell with an orientation that is set to a value other than 0 (zero), 90, or -90 degrees, the borders may not meet at the corners of the cell.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, do not apply double borders around cells that are angled. If you apply any other kind of border, such as a single or dashed border, the problem does not occur.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
