SYMPTOMSWhen you enter data in a cell, you may not be able to see the data in the cell. However, you can see the data in the formula bar.
CAUSEThis behavior occurs when the following conditions are true:
WORKAROUNDTo work around this behavior, do not set the indent to a value greater than the number of characters in the cell.
STATUSThis behavior is by design of Microsoft Excel 98.
