The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you customize a menu or a toolbar, the Customize command on the Tools menu is not listed in the Customize dialog box, and you cannot add this command to the custom menu or toolbar. Note that this behavior may be problematic if you remove the Customize command from the Tools menu, and then attempt to add it back.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, use either of the following methods.
Method 1: Use the Customize Menu Item CommandA Customize Menu Item command is available in the Customize dialog box under Macros. To access the command, follow these steps:
