SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, when you save a workbook, a custom toolbar that is attached to the workbook may not be saved.
CAUSEThis behavior occurs when you save the workbook in the Microsoft Excel 5.0/95 Workbook file format. NOTE: If you save the workbook in the Microsoft Excel Workbook file format, an attached toolbar is saved with the workbook.
STATUSThis behavior is by design of Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.
MORE INFORMATIONIn Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, you can attach custom toolbars to workbooks. If a workbook contains an attached toolbar, the toolbar is available to every user who opens the workbook. To attach a custom toolbar to a workbook, follow these steps:
