SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, if you run an AppleScript script, you may receive the following error message:
Execution Error Microsoft Excel got an error: Unable to get the Select property of the Range class CAUSEThis problem will occur if the following conditions are true:

To prevent this problem from occurring, modify your script so that it selects the worksheet before it selects the range of cells in the worksheet, as in the following example:
Select Sheet "Sheet1" Select Range "R3C2:R6C4" of Sheet "Sheet1"Note that because the worksheet is already active, it is not necessary to specify the worksheet name when you select the cells:
