The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you use the Customize dialog box (click Customize on the Tools menu) to create a new toolbar in Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, the new toolbar appears to have no name even though you entered a name in the New Toolbar dialog box.
CAUSEBecause the new toolbar contains no tools, it is too narrow to display the name.
RESOLUTIONIf you add at least two tools to the new toolbar, its name begins to appear. If you add four or more tools to the toolbar, the toolbar is wide enough to display its full name.
STATUSThis behavior is by design of Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.

To add tools to a toolbar, click the Commands tab in the Customize dialog box, and then drag tools onto the new toolbar.
