SUMMARYIn earlier versions of Microsoft Excel, you can click the Name box, which is located on the formula bar, and select a defined name to use in a formula. In Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, the functionality of this box changed; it is no longer possible to select a defined name from the list. In Microsoft Excel 98, this box is the Function box, which stores the most recently used functions.
MORE INFORMATIONAlthough you cannot change the functionality of the Name box so that it works as it does in earlier versions, you can replicate the earlier functionality. To do this, use the Go To dialog box to place a defined name in a formula.
