SYMPTOMSIf you use a chart that contains a trendline (polynomial or logarithmic), and you format the trendline to use a dashed line, the trendline may appear distorted.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, do not change the line style for the trendline in your chart. The default line style, which is a continuous line, does not appear distorted when you use it. If you already changed the line style for the trendline in your chart, change the line style to a continuous line (instead of the dashed line). To do this, follow these steps:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
