In Microsoft Excel, you can import Lotus 1-2-3 files. Both applications can read and write Lotus 1-2-3 files. This ability provides complete two-way file compatibility. In addition, Microsoft Excel provides learning tools to help Lotus 1-2-3 users quickly learn Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Excel also has a sophisticated Lotus 1-2-3 macro translation assistant.
