Manual Calculation of Active Excel Worksheet Only

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Excel for Windows, versions 2.x, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0
  • Microsoft Excel for OS/2, versions 2.2, 2.21, 3.0

In Microsoft Excel, to perform a manual calculation on only the active worksheet, do any of the following:

  • Use the keyboard shortcut by pressing SHIFT+F9.

    -or-

  • Use the appropriate procedure below:

    Microsoft Excel version 5.0 ---------------------------

    From the Tools menu, choose Options. Select the Calculation tab, and choose the Calc Sheet button.

    Microsoft Excel version 4.0 ---------------------------

    From the Options menu, choose Calculation. Choose the Calc Document button.

    Microsoft Excel versions 2.x and 3.0 ------------------------------------

    Hold down the SHIFT key and choose Calculate Document from the Options menu.
