The information in this article applies to:

In Microsoft Excel, to perform a manual calculation on only the active
worksheet, do any of the following:
- Use the keyboard shortcut by pressing SHIFT+F9.

- Use the appropriate procedure below:
Microsoft Excel version 5.0

From the Tools menu, choose Options. Select the Calculation tab, and
choose the Calc Sheet button.
Microsoft Excel version 4.0
---------------------------
From the Options menu, choose Calculation. Choose the Calc Document
button.
Microsoft Excel versions 2.x and 3.0

Hold down the SHIFT key and choose Calculate Document from the Options
menu.
