SUMMARYIn Microsoft Excel, when you choose Fill Down from the Edit menu, formulas containing relative references update based on the new cells that the formula appears in. For example, if cell B1 contains the formula =A1*10, cell B2 will contain the formula =A2*10 if Fill Down is used to copy the formula into that cell. To copy the exact formula from the cell above, do the following:
