SUMMARYTo input a reference during the execution of a macro, you can specify a range by selecting the range instead of typing the reference.
MORE INFORMATIONUse the standard INPUT macro function (the same function you use for inputting numbers or text). If Type 8 is used, you can select cells on the worksheet as input. The selection is outlined instead of highlighted. For example, the following input statement can be used:
=INPUT("Select a range",8,,,300,200)This statement puts the box near the bottom of the screen. If you want to completely hide the box, use larger x-y coordinates. For example, the following input statement is not shown on the screen, so cells can be selected as input without the input box being used (except that the selection is outlined instead of highlighted):
=INPUT("Select a range",8,,,400,400) |
