SUMMARY
ProVue (the maker of OverVue) recommends importing Microsoft Excel
documents as text files. To save an Excel file as a text file, do the
following:
- Open the worksheet in Excel you want to save as a text file.
- From the File menu, choose Save As.
- In the Save As Dialog box, select the Text option.
- Click the Save button.
This document can then be opened in OverVue by following the
instructions in the OverVue manual for importing a document in "Tab
Between Cells Format."
To transfer an OverVue document into Excel, do the following:
- Start OverVue.
- From the Print menu, choose Blank Report Template.
- From the Print menu, choose Edit Report Template.
- From the Special menu, choose Microsoft File.
- From the Template menu, choose Quit.
- From the Find menu, choose Select Commands to choose the records
you want to transfer.
- From the Print menu, choose Print Report On Disk, give the report
a name, and then click the Save Button.
- Quit out of OverVue.
- Open a new worksheet in Excel and choose Open from the File menu.
- Select the report you created in OverVue.
- Click the Open button.
