SUMMARYThe Microsoft Excel Dialog Editor will not allow objects whose position has been set to Auto in the object information box to be dragged to a new position. To turn off Auto positioning, do the following:
MORE INFORMATIONIf a dialog box definition table has been copied from Excel and pasted into the Dialog Editor, any object whose X and Y position (columns 2 and 3) is left blank will be brought into the editor with its position set to Auto. An object whose X position is set to Auto can still be moved vertically as long as its Y position is not set to Auto. Likewise, an object whose Y position is set to Auto can be moved horizontally as long as its X position is not set to Auto.
