All manual page breaks can be removed from a file by saving it in SYLK file format. SYLK will retain most file formatting (such as borders or column widths) but not page breaks. To save the file as SYLK, do the following:

  1. Open the worksheet.

  2. From the File menu, choose Save As.

  3. Choose the Options button.

  4. Select SYLK from the File Formats list box.

  5. Choose the Save button.

  6. From the File menu, choose Close.

  7. From the File menu, choose Open.

  8. Type the name of the worksheet with an .SLK extension in the File Name box.

  9. Choose the Open button.

The resulting worksheet will not have any manual page breaks.

The file must now be returned to normal file format. To do this, follow steps 1-5 above, but substitute Normal for SYLK in step 4.
