The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh, versions 1.x, 2.x, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 5.0a

In Microsoft Excel, you can close a dialog box by double-clicking an option button or list box item. This method works in user-defined (custom) dialog boxes as well as in Microsoft Excel's built-in dialog boxes.

This method of closing dialog boxes will not work in Apple System dialog boxes (such as Print or Page Setup), because Apple does not build this capability into its dialog boxes.
