The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Excel for Windows, versions 2.x, 3.x, 4.x, 5.0 5.0c
  • Microsoft Excel for Windows NT, version 5.0
  • Microsoft Excel for Windows 95, version 7.0

Microsoft Excel does not directly support the import or export of R:BASE databases. However, R:BASE System V, R:BASE for DOS, and R:BASE for OS/2 can import and export in Lotus, dBASE, ASCII delimited, SYLK, and DIF file formats through its Filegateway module. Excel can read and write all of those file formats.
