SUMMARY

Q+E error message: "External database commands are disabled because QE.EXE is not available"

This message may occur after you load QE.XLM and try to initiate Q+E from the Data menu provided by QE.XLM. QE.XLM searches for QE.EXE in the active directory; if it is not there the above error message is returned.
