Excel: Printing Different Number of Rows from Same DocumentLast reviewed: November 29, 1994Article ID: Q51066 |
The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARYThe selection of installed fonts available when a Microsoft Excel version 2.20, 3.00 or 4.00 worksheet is printed can affect the row heights on the printed document. When the same document is printed from machines with different sizes of installed fonts, the number of rows per page might differ. This is true even when the font used on the worksheet is installed on both machines; the presence or absence of fonts in the larger sizes may still affect the row height. This occurs because of the way in which Excel scales fonts -- Excel uses scaled, larger sized fonts for greater precision.
