Excel: Can't Set Print Quality to Draft Through a MacroLast reviewed: November 2, 1994Article ID: Q57194 |
SUMMARYThe fifth parameter of the Print() command, draft, is reserved for compatibility with the MS-DOS version of Excel. It has no function on the Macintosh and cannot be used to specify the print quality. A workaround is to place a Print?() command at the beginning of the macro to allow you to choose the desired print quality. Once the print quality is set in the Print dialog box, it will apply to all subsequent macro print jobs during that session. For more information on the Print() command, see pages 264-265 in the "Microsoft Excel: Functions and Macros" manual for version 2.20. This is a limitation of the Macintosh System software.
