Text Does Not Overwrite into the Next Cell

SUMMARY

Text will not overwrite into the next cell under the following conditions:

  1. Display was chosen from the Options menu and the Formulas check box was selected.

    To allow text to overwrite into the next empty cell so that all of the text is displayed, clear the Formulas check box (or press CTRL+~ [tilde] to cancel the Formulas selection).

  2. There is data in the adjacent cell.

    From the Edit menu, choose Clear All on this adjacent cell if the text is not displaying correctly.
