Excel Number Format that Displays Text Only

SUMMARY

If you want an Microsoft Excel cell to display only cell data if it is text, format the cell with the ";;" number format (without the quotation marks).

This number format tells Microsoft Excel to display a blank if the number is positive, negative, or zero. It does not affect text display.
