Excel: DIRECTORY Returns Error When Activating Root Level

SUMMARY

To activate the root directory from a macro, the path_text argument must be followed by a colon (:).

For example, to activate the directory "Hard Disk," use the following formula:

   =DIRECTORY("Hard Disk:")
